Spent the last three days packing up my life and getting ready to move to BC. Have to live out of a suitcase for the next 5 weeks. Boo-urns.
 Worked on some audition stuff, and read part of a book on auditioning. Now I can't find it, (it's in a box somewhere...) so I can't finish it until I move!

Just booked my first feature film role! Yee-ha! (It's being filmed in Calgary, so I thought "yee-ha" was a good fit.)

Ordered re-prints of one headshot and one new order from Tobyn Ross's shots today. Flying to Calgary for a couple of days tomorrow and my agent managed to get me a commercial audition tomorrow haha! Rehearsed this morning for class as well...a scene from Shakespeare in Love.

Had a great time yesterday up by Widgeon Falls! Couple of hours canoeing, splashing around in nice cold water with my family, couple hours of hiking, what could be better? And as far as acting goes, got booked for some new headshots and worked on my audition coming up...good times!

Saw my new headshots. It's funny. They are called headshots, but there is a disproportianately large amount of my torso (read: gut) involved. I mean, there is a lot there to begin with, but my head seems to be of secondary importance. Better drop my daily milkshake intake from 4 to 3...
Thanks, Ali! I actually had two more auditions (student films) and got them both. Finished one last weekend, the other is in Sept/Oct. Lots of good practice and experience, but I can't wait to get out there where some of you seem to be. You know, getting paid.
