Default changing hair colour

Hi,
I'm wanting to book a session to get headshots done, but I'm wondering if I should wait for these streaks I have to grow out. They're the lightest tone of my hair colour, and there's only a few of them around my face. I don't plan on having them done again....should I wait or should I book the session?

It is really hard to say unless we could see a picture of you.

If you are that worried about it, you could just get a hairdresser to colour your hair back to your natural colour. That way you won't have to worry after the fact and regret spending all that money on headshots.

Also, the sooner you get headshots, the sooner you start working. Best;-)

I would get an experienced hairdresser to try and match your natural colour as best as they can, and then get your headshots done.

I'm in the same boat, I got my hair dyed blonde and now I'm a year into growing it out to my natural honey blonde colour. I'm personally debating whether to just let it grow out naturally so I don't have to deal with dying it and it potentially going awry, or to trust a talented hairdresser and just get it matched to my natural hair colour.

Bah!

I think you'd feel much better if you got it matched. Then you won't have to wait who knows how long for the awkward in-between hair to grow out.

Check out Shai at Pome- pome.ca...my hair was brown last year and I wanted to go back to blonde, she did a great job all the while making sure my hair didn't get fried.

roo, if your natural colour is honey blonde, you could get the base colour changed back to your natural shade, then highlight it. Natural looking highlights on honey blonde always look great and are much easier to mantain than straight colour. You don't see the roots as much and you can always get a few foils on the top in between actual whole head foils. I only get my whole head done every 6-8 months but get the top done every 3 months or so.

Yeah that's also something I've been considering too luvinactin, but the argument is always 'do I really want to have to upkeep all that and keep spending money that I don't have?'

Haha I had highlights before and liked them, but everytime I think of maintenance once the roots start to grow out it just puts me off doing it again. But I'm still considering it nonetheless. :P

I just don't know if I'd prefer that or just prefer to have my all natural hair colour. Ahh choices choices!!

Thank you very much for the advice, that's actually a pretty good idea! I'll look into getting it matched

I stopped dying my hair years ago and let it grow out in its natural colour and I am SO HAPPY I did! My hair is so soft with a bunch of natural highlights and I save SO MUCH MONEY not having to dye or highlight it all the time. That being said, I had a hairdresser match my original colour about 8 years ago and took it from there. Long process, but so worth it! I don't think I will ever colour my hair again.

DOOOOOOOOOO IT!
